Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 23, 2026

This policy applies to the app Mixtro: Fuse Puzzle (iOS and Android) and to the website mixtro.app. It explains which data is processed, why, on which legal basis under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and what rights you have.

The short version

We don't collect anything that identifies you directly: no name, no email address, no account. To improve Mixtro and fix bugs, we use pseudonymized usage and crash data. It is linked only to a random device identifier, not to you as a person. We cannot tell who you are from this data and we don't try to.

Ads (Google AdMob) and game statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase) only use your data with your consent where the law requires it. You can change your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy settings. Crash reports can be switched off under Settings → Share crash reports.

1. Who is responsible

Controller within the meaning of Art. 4(7) GDPR:

Ayman El Ouariachi
EloDev
Email: support@elodev.de
Postal address: see our imprint (Impressum)

We have not appointed a data protection officer, as we are not legally required to do so.

2. Data stored only on your device

The app saves your game progress locally: scores, coins, daily bonus streak, unlocked worlds and collection items, selected theme and your settings. This data never leaves your device, we cannot access it, and it is deleted when you uninstall the app.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Mixtro is free and financed by ads from Google AdMob: optional reward videos (for example for a free power-up or to double the daily bonus) and occasional full-screen ads between rounds. Players who buy "Remove Ads" or the Lab Starter Pack no longer see the full-screen ads.

To deliver and measure ads, Google may process your IP address, device and app information, an advertising identifier and information about your interaction with ads. Google acts as an independent controller for this processing.

More information: How Google uses data in ads and the Google Privacy Policy.

4. Game statistics (Google Analytics for Firebase)

To find out how Mixtro is played and where it can be improved (for example which worlds are popular, which power-ups are used, at which stage rounds end), we use Google Analytics for Firebase. Statistics are switched off by default and only switched on after you have given consent in the consent dialog (purposes "store and/or access information on a device" and "measure content performance"). Outside the regions where consent is required, statistics are switched on.

What is processed:

What we deliberately do not do: we set no user ID and no user properties, we do not use advertising identifiers (IDFA/AAID) or the IDFV for statistics, we do not allow statistics data to be used for advertising or ad personalization, and Google Signals is not enabled.

Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future under Settings → Privacy settings. Statistics data is deleted automatically after 2 months.

5. Crash reports (Firebase Crashlytics)

If the app crashes, a crash report is sent so we can find and fix the error. It contains the technical error trace, device model, operating system version, app version, time of the crash and a random installation ID. It contains no name, email, advertising identifier or game progress.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a stable, secure and working app (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; § 25(2) No. 2 TDDDG). You can object at any time by switching off Settings → Share crash reports; no further reports are sent from your device. Crash reports are deleted automatically after 90 days.

6. Purchases

You can optionally buy coin packs, an ad-free upgrade or a starter pack. Payments are processed entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We do not receive your name, payment details or purchase history; the store only confirms to the app that a purchase was completed so it can be credited on your device. Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

7. This website

mixtro.app is hosted on Google Firebase Hosting. When you open the website, the hosting provider automatically processes technical connection data (IP address, date and time, requested page, browser type) to deliver the pages and to keep the service secure. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a reliable and secure website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The website uses no cookies, no tracking and no analytics.

8. Service providers and transfers outside the EU

The services named above are provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. For Firebase (statistics, crash reports, hosting) Google acts as our processor under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR). Data may also be processed by Google LLC in the USA. Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, on the basis of which the European Commission has issued an adequacy decision (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses apply.

9. Children

Mixtro is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)); the easiest way is Settings → Privacy settings in the app.

Because we only process pseudonymized data and cannot identify you from it, we may not be able to assign a request to you without additional information (Art. 11 GDPR). Contact us at support@elodev.de.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the authority responsible for us: Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit, Gustav-Stresemann-Ring 1, 65189 Wiesbaden, Germany.

11. No automated decisions

We do not use your data for automated decision-making or profiling within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR.

12. Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
